Pet Sitting Services
We realize how hard it is to decide to leave your pet while you go away no matter how long it may be. Rest assured that your pet, or pets, will be cared for as we would care for our own. Below is a list of prices for basic pet sitting services in your home. These prices are estimates and may change depending on your circumstances or the requirements of your pets. Please contact us for accurate pricing especially since your pricing includes mileage rates. We also offer boarding, with limited space available since they do stay with us in our home. Dog Training Services
We offer a variety of Dog training services. We offer group classes, private in-home lessons and board-and-train services (available under limited circumstances). The group classes are one day a week for 6 weeks. They will last 1hour and 15 minutes. There will be a short playtime the last 10 - 15 minutes of the class for dogs that can play well with others. Puppies must be at least 10 weeks old, have 2 sets of shots and proof of vaccinations. Dogs over 4 months must show proof of Vaccinations including a Rabies. These need to be brought with you when you come to your first class. There are discounts for spayed, neutered and shelter adopted pets. You must also bring proof of these services to receive your discount. The prices are listed below.
We will also come to your home to work with you and your family on training your dog. We will work on basic obedience behaviors in order to make you dog better behaved, easier to walk on leash and in general better behaved around visitors. They will learn how to sit, down, come when called, walk on a leash, and greet visitors properly as well as other things. We can also cater specifically to certain problems you may need addressed according to your dogs behavior. I am sorry to say that we do not accept dog aggression issues at this time.
Your private training program can be the basic 6 week class covering beginning obedience or a few one hour sessions addressing specifically the problem you are facing. We also have a follow up class to the basic class which will begin working with more advanced behaviors building on your basic behaviors taught in the first class. Contact us to find out what is the best plan for your situation. Your sessions will consist of one-on-one training with our trainer. They generally last about 1 hour - 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will have plenty of time to get your questions asked and work on problems you may encounter while training. These sessions are very laid back and personal. Your whole family is welcome and encouraged to attend the classes. Consistency is important while training, so if everyone attends the training sessions, everyone will be using the same technique when working with the dog. This will avoid confusion with the dog. It is also a great way to make sure you remember everything that is brought up during the training sessions. It is a lot of information in a short time and your son or daughter might remember something you forgot. Of course you can always call or email our trainer with any questions you may have.
We also offer board and train services due to a large interest in this area. However, we only accept one dog at a time in the board-and-train program due to our limited space and the fact that your dog will be living with us, in our home. We want to make sure your dog gets the attention it needs and deserves so we only work with one dog at a time. You must discuss with us your reasons for a board-and-train preference for doing a board and train rather than working with your dog in classes or private lessons. It is obviously important and better for you and your dog to train your dog yourself rather than have us do it. However we do understand that there are circumstances that make this option better for you and your dog. We have the right to turn down any request for board-and-train that we feel we should not take for any reason. We will discuss this choice with you. Prices for board-and-train will be assessed depending on the time and circumstances involved.
Your training sessions are planned out in the training manual you will receive your first day of class. It is complete with a checklist for each week's class, and descriptions of the work that will be done. It is a complete training program for basic obedience and you will enjoy the Positive Reinforcement methods utilized in the program. We will use Clicker training during our classes. A great method for quick learning from your dog.
| Your dog must be at least ten weeks old to begin training classes. What you need to have for training. 1. Flat or No-slip collars only..Absolutely NO choke chains, prong collars or shock collars will be allowed. 2. 6 ft Flat nylon Leash or leather leash..Absolutely NO chain collars or "flexi-leads" will be allowed 3. Do not bring your dog to the first class if attending a group class. 4. Lots of Yummy moist treats for us to reward your dog for all the great thing they will be doing for us. |

Graduation Certificate when we are done Pricing for Private in-home training varies depending on your needs. Our trainer can answer all of those questions for you. The cost of the 6 week training classes are based on $65.00 a session. If you pay for the full 6 weeks in advance then you will receive the 6th lesson free. This means you pay only $325.00 for personalized, one-on-one training for a full 6 weeks.You will have one-on-one attention from our trainer while in classes.*** If you feel you only need help with a couple of things, we can schedule private classes one at a time. The charge will be $65.00 per class. You will have one-on-one attention from our trainer while in classes.*** *** These prices do not include mileage. Mileage charges are based on current government mileage rates, with the first 10 miles free. These will be calculated and paid on the day of service. We have finally setup a space for group classes. Check the calendar to see when they start. If you have a few friends interested in taking their new puppies, let them know and we can set up a puppy playtime for their much needed socialization. This will allow for large discounts on class costs. Group class cost is $80.00 per dog. There is a 3 dog minimum. If we don't fill the class will be changed to fill another one. If you have proof of spay, neuter or shelter adoption, you will receive a $10.00 discount on your group class price. These prices are subject to change.
